Ali Hamad is a Tanzanian working with UNFPA - Tanzania Country Office as a Programme Analyst responsible for Gender. He has been fully engaged in the promotion of women and girls rights over the past nine years. Previously he worked also as a journalist with various media in Tanzania. He obtained his BA in Journalism and MA in Mass communication at St. Augustine University of Tanzania in 2002 -2005 and 2010 -2012 respectively and currently he is a PhD candidate with Open University of Tanzania.
